Pastor’s Message

Greetings!

I invite you to join us each Sunday this month as we look at various scriptures that might be challenging in ways to cause us to “say what more can I do?” I’ve often asked the congregation to “invite” a friend to church. One of the underlying issues we have with inviting, is that “the church” is not comfortable with inviting. Gone are the days when we can simply say, “come and you’ll have a good time.” Church is not about having just a “good time,” after all, you don’t go to the doctor just because you “feel good.” Inviting someone is the first step in making disciples and making disciples is what Jesus instructs (not just instructed-past tense, but instructs- present and future) us to do. Let’s learn together how to invite with purpose. May God continue to bless and keep you. I look forward to seeing you in worship this Sunday.

Love God… Love Others… Make a Difference!
